Pamela Benitez, M.D.

Pamela Benitez, a graduate of Albany Medical College, conducted her surgical residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals. She comes to us from William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she is a general surgeon with a busy practice focusing exclusively on diseases of the breast and breast cancer. Dr. Benitez is passionate about the care of the patient with a diagnosis of breast cancer dedicating her free time to training for her 4th Breast Cancer 3-Day 60 Mile Walk and developing a new foundation to help women with financial issues related to their recent diagnosis of breast cancer. Her latest clinical interest is the exploration of the role of nutrition in health and disease. She has recently been called upon to speak on the subject of complementary medicine as it relates to breast cancer treatment.
